Hi, I've a problem with scheduled job.
I've job with user daily ordered at 12:00 (MB1200), not on demand.
On scheduling table manager,
When i order job to ODAT... job are ordered, status OK but dummy
When i force job to ODAT... job are ordered but well submitted. It's good
Next, the job on demand are always forced and it work (ordered and submitted on server)
Why job are dummied? It's because of FORCE or ORDER?
Could i order or force job with userdaily MB1200 (at 12:00) or DMND (job on demand)?
Thanks.
Job ordered, executed OK but DUMMY

npruszek,
Do your job belong to Group Scheduling Tables ?
If yes, check the "Adjust condition" check box in the "Execution" tag of the Scheduling group definition.
Then, check the existence of "CTM_GROUP_ADJUST_DUMMY Y" in the control-m server config.dat parm file.
Then run a forecast against the concerned Scheduling table: montly report is the most readable, which is run under controlm server account, like this:
ctmrpln mj y <your> "*" 201002
.. for february 2010.
If you dont see your job ordered for the expected date, it is a normal Scheduling group behaviour, which has probably set up by someone else in your shop.
Please advise

I can not exactly remember, but:
your job is ordered as DUMMY, because this job is not scheduled to run on the ODATE day. There is a parameter which say something like:
Order JOBS as dummy when:
the job is not scheduled on ODATE
AND
the job outcondition is required by other job, which is ordered on ODATE.
Please, find it somewhere in documentation
"dummy jobs", "order dummy" ... looking for such strings
I do not want to do it myself, but I would like to refresh my memory .
thank you
