Installed Agt on new server; name not shown in node id/group

Hi All,

I installed an Agent on a new server; services are running. On Config Manager, new server is listed and available. When updating jobs to run on new server, server name does not display in agent list (node id/group). What step have I missed here?

Also, on Config Mgr, all servers are listed twice; once with Control-M/Agent and the other with CM(WIN). There is no CM(WIN) entry for my new server. How do I obtain that? Thanks.

You haven't missed anything. The nodegrp/agentlist you mentioned is populated by a query which just returns a list of possible agents based on what has been previously used in other definitions, not by the defined agents. After your first definition is saved to EM under the specific datacenter, you should see your node in the listing.

In regards to the CM's, I've never seen them populated before the first job run on the agent.
