Scheduler Usage

i cannot figure out how to know which agent is access a .bash-profiel. i am trying to put an if clause like this in my .bash_profile.

How do I resolve "if agent version 8"?

Can you access the $home from the agent?
So look the $home/installed-version.txt from the agent
