Permission for */ctm/data/CONFIG.dat file getting changed

Upon startup, the Control-M agent is started and somewhere along the startup path it changes permissions on */ctm/data/CONFIG.dat file. This prevents at least one critical job from completing. Could someone advice on why this is happening?

CONFIG.dat permissions were changed to 755 after startup . Should be 775

NN

The only time I've seen this happen was after applying patches on the Agent. Even then it was just a case of chmodding the value back to the correct one to fix the issue permanently.

I'd open a case with BMC for this.

Even, i'm also facing the same problem. The permission for */ctm/data/CONFIG.dat file is getting changed automatically upon restart of the server or during stop & start the Control-M/Agent services. Agent server is AIX

Hi,

Could someone please help me, how to fix this problem.

Whenever the Agent server got rebooted, the permission for /app/ctmagent/ctm/data/CONFIG.dat file changed to 600. But it should be 744
