hi all,
please help me to determine what exactly this error message means?

0803 00:09:59:71 AS:os_file_getMinFreeSpace: minimum free space in MB requiered by the agent: 50
0803 00:09:59:71 AS:Free bytes for Calleer: 4116285680 and Total bytes for Caller: 8694120448 and Free bytes on disk: 4116285680
0803 00:09:59:71 AS:There is enough free space
0803 00:09:59:71 AS:OS_FILE_fopen failed to open file: BACKUP\_0001.dsect. mode: wc. errno=3
0803 00:09:59:71 AS:GM_PARAM_list_save ended FAIL, file: BACKUP\0habq_0001.dsect
0803 00:09:59:71 AS:ErrorSet: Failed to save job information to file. check available disk space. For more information, see Agent diagnostics dump file in the proclog directory
0803 00:09:59:71 AS:AG_SUBMIT_handle_request - Error: Failed to save job information to file. check available disk space. For more information, see Agent diagnostics dump file in the proclog directory
>>> End dump active buffer

fyi : there's a lot of empty space available. i dont think this is a space issue. or i'm wrong?

Hi,

I had simmilar problem with my 6.3 agent on AIX server. (did not happened on Hp-UX) with the same version of the agent.
You will need to install the patch.

Best Regards,

Hi,

Try to stop the agent processes.
And clean the following folders:
status
temp
pid
locks
.
Have you tried to launch some native windows executables, like dir... ?
Does the job finishes fine or hangs? Might be there are some read/write restrictions on the agent's home directory?
