how to get shout for un available agents

Can someone please guide me how to get shout messages for down agents in alert window.

Hi Shoyebkhan,

when an agent status change from available to unavailable, CONTROL-M Server sent the following regular (yellow) alert:

STATUS OF AGENT PLATFORM xxxAGNAMExxx CHANGED TO UNAVAILABLE

Hi Fileal2,

in my knowledge it is not possible in this way but you can make the following:

- create a cyclic Job runnig on CTM SERVER making command ctmping
- configure "steps" sheet like "on NOTOK do mail"

Just thought that it could exist a kinder way of doing this without having cyclic jobs running on the agents

in our setup .its not posting shout to Alert window .........that why i am finding the way to confugure it if needed

you can use Control-M CTMuserEXIT of the Config.dat to do that
