Unable to start tracker on AIX agent

Hi,

While starting the Control-M agent on one of the AIX box the scripts fails quoting "Problem detected <some> unable to start tracker process". However the listner process starts.

Any idea why this error ?

Hi,

some ways to investigate:

- Have you checked the agent tracker log in $CONTROLM/ctm/proclog/AT* files for a specific error messages ?
- Communication ports are set correctly ?
- Tracker port is free?
- Try to uninstall an re-install this agent

Be careful about what port numbers you are using. Some versions of AIX consider 7000 series ports to be reserved for AIX.
