Running ctmrpln utilitly from command line 6.4.01 windows

Post by liketolearn » 15 Apr 2010 7:37

Hello,
I am testing functionality on my test windows box. I just put 6.4.01 on. I want to set up a job that will run ctmrpln and send me the sysout in email.
something is not right somewhere! I can run the exact same command from a cmd prompt and see the report on screen. but when i execute the job I get a sysout with the command I put in the job...nothing else! Does anyone know why? This should be easy...I don't understand.
Thanks!

You need to include an output destination as the last parameter to ctmrpln.

Use ctmrpln /? to see the list of cli options.

The output then gets written to this location. You can then create yourself a little 'activate application' that opens the file, so use things such as %%JOBNAME in the output file name.
