Gateway disconnect

Post by donica » 30 Jan 2010 3:46

Hi there,

In configuration manager one of my production gateway connection showing disconnected but it is up state.we are using Secure Socket Layer communication with all Enterprise Manager components. Controlm EM/Controlm server/Configuration manager running on the same box.

This is happen when SSL certificate is expired on the Active directory Ldap. once certificate expires users not able to login to any of controlm tools and gave error message 'LDAP Directory server could not be connected'.

once certificate renew and applyed on active direcotry then users able to login all controlm tools, no issues. but i noticed gateway for production says disconnected.

not able to find any resource how to resolve this. ANY HELP IS greatly APPRECIATED.

thank you,
DONICA.

I have the same issue..under windows services "Control-M/Server Configuration Agent" stops and Gateway is down most frequently

I manually start the service and after a while its the same case..I have all control_m 6.4 components installed on same server(so cannot be port/firwall issue)

Hi,

You can try to increase the default value size for the buffer in Control-M/Server configuration (config.dat)
- Increasing parameter CTM_MAX_IPC_Q_SZ from 10000 (default) to 30000.
- Recycle the Control-M/Server.

Perhaps this helps your problem.

In this forum you can see this post too
