Setting Trace thru a job

Post by Nancy » 03 Nov 2009 12:50

Hi,
I am trying to set a job to run these following commands.
TRACE_CTM on
TRACE_CLIENT on
TRACE_LINK_CTM on
em_data_collector.bat

Is it ok if I will create a batch file called CTMDEBUG.bat which will contain all these commands?

If this is the case then where can i mention the DBO credential to execute the em_data_collector.bat?

To run these job is it requred to install an Agent in the EM?

Anysorts of advice would be highly appreciated.

Nancy

are you talking about ctm_data_collector used in EM ?
you can use it as a command line or create a controlm job.
in this case you must have an agent or agentless to submit it

page 176 Table 63 Category definitions for the ctm_data_collector utility
