Hi Friends,

Why do we get COMPSTAT error? Can any one explain the error codes for OSCOMPSTAT?

Hi Venkateshwarulu,

OCOMPSTAT is the result of return cond of operation.

some question:

1) what is type job?
2) What job do?
3) What is OCOMPSTAT value?

OSCOMPSTAT = 0, 1, 10 etc...

Hi Venkat,

COMPSTAT are the OS Output for particular jobs like
0 -- Completed Succesful job
1 -- File Error/Unknown error
8 -- Database error
16-- Database Closed

no no it's just true or false, so you're in 0 code corresponding to OK, or you're any other code and true false so notok, it is your responsabilities to do the necessary for your scripts to give the last return code to controlm
