Check_req failed! Installation CTM 6.4 on Linux RedHat 5.2-

Post by gilkeden » 12 Jun 2009 10:08

Hi,

I'm trying to run the script check_req.sh on a Linux RedHat 5.2, in order to install CTM6.4 and EM 6.4 with Oracle 10.2.
I have checked all the pre-requisites and I have all the packages installed, and the kernel parameters are ok.

I have also followed the instructions of the release note CAR00039148 regarding installation on Linux.

The problem is the result of my check_req.sh, this is very strange, I have no information about the parameters I have to change.
Please find below the output:

If someone have already installed the 6.4 with Oracle on Linux 5.2, please give me some ideas...

Hi

It exists a FP 6.4.01.001 concerning installation with Oracle on REDHAT.

See PACTV.6.4.01.001

Last month i installed Control-M Enterprise/Server on Redhat 5.3 without problems, but when i tried to install the first time on RH 5.3 I had some troubles too with check_reqs script, so i found a workaround changing the /etc/redhat-realese version.

You can try this and i hope it could fix your issue. Just use the /etc/redhat-release Redhat 5.0 version.

Regards,
