Control-M Database Migration

Post by Nancy » 29 Jan 2009 4:17

Hi Group,

My Control-M database is now hosted in SQL Database server. My customer wants to migrate this database to HP SAN. How easy or difficult it would be? Can anybody guide me how to do this?

Regards,
Nancy

The underlying storage of the database is not related to Control-M. As long as the database hostname and port number remains unchange. Control-M has no concern. Shutdown Control-M for your DBA to move data.

I use data loader for migrating almost any data, it helps me to convert MSSQL to MYSQL, MS access to MSSQL, mysql, csv loader, foxpro and MSSQL to MS access, MYSQl, CSV, foxpro etc. In my view this is a best Data Migration Tool
