My training came from just reading the manuals and learning as I go.
But I know BMC offers trainging classes all over if you go to their website or ask your BMC rep.

Hi Rajeev,

BMC Software has an Education arm.
They regularly offer training for Control-M.
You can see more (i.e. for your country, etc.) from their web-site - http://www.bmc.com/education.
(This includes the ability to get Certification).

Other good sources of "education" for Control-M include:
- reading the Product Documentation, including Release Notes (register for Proactive Notification!)
- setting up a Test/sand-box environment any playing!!
- hitting the BMC Web-site to register for (free) Webinars, etc.
- requesting information from your local BMC rep about User Groups in your country. (These are VERY strong in Australia for example).
- using the search button on this forum for background on any issues/topics you are investigating

Good luck...
Cheers, Graeme.

Hi Rajeev,

i'm a BMC certified CONTROL-M admin and scheduler. BMC gives a range of trainings and conduct certification boot camps. the trainnings are normally very very expensive. i'm an accenture employee and my company sponsered me to attend the boot camp. try to get this certification from your company else you may find it difficult to fund yourself. hope this helps you :)
