AFT Query

For 3rd party transfers(SFTP & FTP), the control-m agent needs to be installed on the 3rd part side as well for AFT to work?

No, you only need your Control-M with AFT on one of your server .

AFT will use FTP/SFTP/FTP over SSL to connect to 3rd party. It's like a FTP client.
