I have a job that cannot run until at least 9:15 A.M. Eastern and it's input dataset must be present.
My Scheduling Team has told me a job in Control-M can not have both time and dataset dependencies so they have scheduled the job to start at 9:15 A.M. Eastern. As expected, it frequently fails with a JCL error because the input dataset has not been created.
This seems like a relatively simple scheduling request and I'm surprised Control-M cannot handle it.
Can someone confirm or deny what I've been told? Thank you
