Scheduling jobs when calendar criteria are not met

Post by SteveR » 30 May 2012 9:27

Hi there

I have a series of jobs for maintenance that are scheduled according to a calendar I labeled "MAINT".
Now, there is another series of Jobs that should be scheduled ALLDAYS, except the days marked in "MAINT", so that they will not be ordered when there is maintenance.

Is there another way to define the scheduling except woring with periodic calendar and two periods? My goal is to keep it simple and only have to mark the date of the maintenance in the calendar "MAINT" without bothering every year to update that calendar.

Any help would be appreciated.
Steve

Hi Steve,

set 'ALL DAYS' in the Month days field
set 'ALL MONTHS'

and put your calendar 'MAINT' in the 'Confirmation calendar' field
and select 'Ignore Job' in 'Shift' filed.

Regards,
Jean-Michel.
