Job with very long command line

Is there a way to define a Control-M job with a very long command line (over 999 chars) without creating a script and running the script from the job?

Read a manual Parameter Guide. The max lenght of command line is 512.

If you're running newer versions, why not to use Embended scripts?
Read manual about it.

I've tried the autoedit variables. When it resolves them at the runtime, the job will still fail with command line longer than 512 chars.
I'm running 6.3.01. It does not have embedded scripts.
