Post by shiva2010 » 22 Jul 2010 3:22

Hi ..actually I am trying to create a new job in a table consider as AB when I am giving all the details in all tabs of a job except schedulling ..for it I have created a table name july in which i have selected Y to all days & dates apart from sunday & saturday after defining all tabs when I am writting these jobs on database its sucessfully writing those jobs in the database but while ordering them it won't work getting message as ( schedulling criteria didn't met) one more thing I have created several test jobs which needs to run on every day and dates in the month but I saw these jobs are not coming automatically in schedule.
I have questions:-
1] How to check the new day procedure timing
2] How to change that one

any help would be appreciatable.

What does it show when you forecast the job?

shiva2010,

Everyone has a forecast available, which is the ctmrpln utility (ctm server). Once you have uploaded your table, run (under ctm server prompt) the following command.

ctmrpln mj y TABLE_NAME "*" 201008

.. where TABLE_NAME is your actual scheduling table name, to get a forecast of all the jobs in your table for august 2008.

A common mistake is forgetting to select the Month array in the Scheduling tab.
Another common error is to forget uploading the calendar, if any.

Hope this will help. If it doesnt, pls provide additional details on the parms specified in you Scheduling tab.

Chhers
