Error in Auto-edit Function

Hi,

I am getting the below error while using an auto-edit function %%$WCALC.

My statement in JCL:
//* %%SET %%X = %%$CALCDTE %%$ODATE -1
//* %%SET %%Y = %%$WCALC %%X < PDAYALL

Error:
SUB192E..SYNTAX ERROR. ORIGINAL LINE - //* %%SET %%Y = %%$WCALC %%X < PDAYALL

Please advise on resolution. Thanks,
