Hi, i m new to this technology.
how to create jobs in Control-M? is there possible to move jobs from Sqlserver 2005 to Control-M? if so what are all the topic need too be taken?
pls guide.

If you need to convert sql jobs to control-M, there is no easy way I know (MS SQL SIS) can be schedules as it is. You have to check the Control-M/CM for databases module, or do the batch jobs which invoke sql executables, which return the needed return codes to Agent --> Server.

thanks for your rpl.... now i want to create jobs in Control-M desktop. when i click the tab to create new job, new window will open with lots of fields....what is the use of that? suggest any material with descriptions.pls guide me. thanks
