To use the module AFT both nodes must have the Agent installed?

AFT is installed on a host where Control-M agent has been installed. The remote hosts AFT is transferring file to/from are FTP servers.

Hi Silvia, you don't need agents installed for AFT. Only you need that booth servers are ftp servers and a correct definition of an ftp account specifying from/end server characteristics.

Remember that ftp module from control-m requires a license. This kind of license is different from agent license. In each country may be a variation from license and its recommendable to take it easy before 'install' ftp accounts between many servers and later you make a balance between $ and use of ftp license.

at least CM for AFt must be installed on one agent
but not necessary those concerned by the transfert ...
