One comment about the requirement mentioned by hipikll:
"create a web console for EM view - not just per Datacenters"
This function is available with APS Manager for Control-M for a very attractive price:

Create a new style for user interact with parms (operator)
Hi, i have this problem in my company, we have 10 persons in 7x24 team and in some cases, they must change some parms in some jobs to re-execution with different parameters.
For example, a job normally execute with PARM1="%%CALCCATE $ODATE"
but in some cases, this job maybe re-executed with a diferent day, "20140227" or what ever.
The operator must 'hold' the job, open 'properties', go to 'set' tab and change manually the respective 'PARM' and change a text field without any kind of format or control. It's very dificult. (where are information security team ?).
I propose that exist some kind of permission and the operator can see in a form the 'parms' allowed to change and save and have the posibility to add 'comments text' to the parms. So, the operator understand what he do and prevent typing errores.
For example :
- Click on the job.
- Select the new option "Rerun with changes".
- Automatic hold the job and open a form with the parm fields:
- PARM1 : %%CALCDATE $ODATE
- Please Enter the date for execute this process : MM-DD-AAAA
- Allo to define the format of each field and some validations.
- When done, save automatic and unhold the job.
Thant what i call, 'a sensitive interface with the people'.

Suggestion Box to BMC Software
some ideas
- cyclic table (for table with several jobs with dependence between them)
- FTP ==> variable name for FTP-LHOST
- several sounds alert
- voice command ....
