SAP BW3 jobs doesn't start, RFC error.

Hi,

Have anyone had this issue, we are running SAP BW3 jobs with the CM for SAP. The jobs fails in Control-M and do not start in SAP. Error: RFC RSPC_API_CHAIN_START - FAILED.

We are using the SAP Authorization role that is supplied for Control-M and we made the addidtions as mentioned in the documentation. The SAP BW3 jobs also have the required "Start Using Meta Chain API" option selected.

Another problem is that the documentation say that if you have authorization issues, that you must add extra authorization object roles and values, but it doesn't say what.

How can I find what the extra authorization object roles and values should be? Or do anyone know what extra authorization object roles and values we can add or change?

Hi,

After sitting with the SAP developer who's jobs it is, we found the extra SAP Authorization Objects that needs to be added to the Control-M user's role:
S_BI-WHM_RFC
S_BI-WX_RFC

Hope this may help somone in the furure.
