Account Name population in Control Module

Post by r3rajesh » 19 May 2008 8:26

Hello All,
I need your help/inputs and suggestions in doing the following task for one of new Application Integration development wherein
we would like to read the file and populate it in the list box in the Control-m desktop tab just like AFT tab (Control Module).

Could you please explain how the account name in the AFT module is populated and where are the account details saved?
Are they placed somewhere in the control-M Database ? This is exactly what the Load button utility is doing, if I am right ?

Regds,
Rajesh

The account file is in XML format and is saved on the agent machine were you have installed the AFT.
The path is:
<ctm>\ctm\cm\AFT\data
and the file name is: "accounts.dat".

In this file you can change all the values respecting the XML syntax, the password is cripted by the account utility (ctmaftacc); so dont chage it.
