AFT License

How works ftp license from CTM-Ftp module ? I mean, when I buy a Control-M ftp license i can :

a) Create only 1 FTP account in control-m to send/receive files only between 2 servers ?

Example :
FTP Acount : SERVER_A --> SERVER_B running on server A

In conclusion, only 1 ftp account is created in Control-M server.

b) Create multiple FTP accounts in 1 server that is used as base (exemple server F) to make all ftp commands between multiple other servers ?

Example :
FTP Account : SERVER_A --> SERVER_B running on server F
FTP Account : SERVER_C --> SERVER_D running on server F
FTP Account : SERVER_A --> SERVER_C running on server F
FTP Account : SERVER_B --> SERVER_D running on server F

In conclusion, there are many ftp account created in Control-M server, but all this ftp account runs on only 1 server as intermedite.

I make contact my BMC support, but not really clear the term of this kind of license.

are you talking about AFT module ?
otherwise i think control-m doesn't matter about ftp server, just should works in any case.
one server can provide all transfert, but you can do anythink you want having thr ftp server licence on some server.

I don't understand you philmalmaison. The question is : i have 1 server called 'SERVER A', from this server i make ftp (using aft from control-m) to send/receive files between servers, example, SERVER B --> SERVER C, SERVER D --> SERVER E, SERVER F --> SERVER G, SERVER Z --> SERVER K. With the previous example, how many aft licenses i have ?, 1 or 4 ? All the aft jobs run from server A and all jobs have been defines as aft job running a specific aft account.

sorry i explain:

there is only ONE GLOBAL LICENCE for AFT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

this depend of the charge you allready have :
1) in jobs licencing
or
2) in agent licencing
