Hi BCBSLA

Traps are the same for each Control-M Server version.
In the following forum CONTROL-M and SNMP Traps you will find SNMP Traps pdf file containing all you need to cutomized monitoring with NSM.

Create a Message Action on your NSM Core and format your message when you receive that sort of trap:

* * * * * 0.0.0.0 * * 1 * * * 1.3.6.1.4.1.954.1.2 * * I * * * * R Not_Noticed * *

Replace 0.0.0.0 by your Control-M Server IP adress.

Here another example about NSM Message Actions.

Yes I already have the NSM message record action configured and recieving the SNMP trap. NSM is also opening a ticket in Service Desk but it is passing the entire trap. I am looking for a MIB file to translate the OID information in the trap so I will only recieve the text string and ID # not the entire OID. I have found a MIB for Control M ver. 6.3 but not for ver. 6.1 or 6.2. The SNMP string is different in ver. 6.3 then in earlier versions that's the problem. Thanks for your input.

Hi BCBSLA

Thanks for your feedback. It's true there is a MIB for the 6.3 version.
Here is the link for all wishing to use it. MIB for 6.3
