We are in process of migrating Control-M for our new client from another Vendor to our company. Till now only half of the agents have been migrated. Everything in Control-M is on 6.4 and AFT and SAP CM modules are running because of huge no. of SAP jobs in environment.
AIX admin needs to know what sudo commands we would need in order to perform our daily tasks (Scheduling and min of Admin activities).
Can anybody list some or all of the commands we would need??
Need list of commands that we need to sudo into AIX
for performing action on Agent you need below access level
CTM AGENT USER access- for performing upgrade and update in agent configuration
you need sudo to root access to run following command to start/stop agent services as root
~(ctmagent home directory)/ctm/scripts/shut-ag
~(ctmagent home directory)/ctm/scripts/start-ag
On CTM server and CTM EM AIX box you should have (ctmserver user) and (EM Server user access) for performing the routine task on Control-M server and EM
Apart from this , scheduling should be done from GUI .. aks your CTM Admin to add you in Browse and update group under user administration
