What is a DNS error and why do my computers keep experiencing them?
My old computer kept having DNS errors and eventually became so slow that it is now unusable. Now my year-and-a-half-old Dell Inspiron 1564 laptop is having a similar problem. I go to a webpage, it goes to it and then immediately shows a screen that says a DNS error has occurred and that the link appears to be broken. It has said this for multiple links that I have clicked, not just one or two. How can I prevent what happened to my old computer and get my laptop back in good condition?
