DB growth

HI all
I am using pgsql DB .
Noticed my Db is growing at an alarming rate even though the New Day Process cleans up the ioalogs .I found no error in ctmlog.I am wondering whether I need to add some parameter in config file .I was told default values will take care of that.So ,how do I stop the growth?
