Email Subject Customized

Post by CPalacios » 11 May 2011 4:35

Hi everyone,

I need to send an email as a shout (using a shout destination list) after X. What I need is to be able to customize the subject of that email in order to inform which job is refering that shout. (jobname would be great to include on the subject).

By now, my default subject is: Control-M Server: Shout by orderno: 00001e02

Am I able to do this??

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

To get rid of those messages you have to insert the parameter "MAIL_ADD_SUBJECT_PREFIX N" in the config.dat file of the Control-M Server..

As for the %%JOBNAME variable, it's not possible to have that on the mail subject... you can only have that on the mail body (at least for the 6.4 version and previous, I don't know if that's possible on the new version 7)

Hope it helps..
