On control-M server, launch ctm_menu, use option 6 and 6 again. Enter your e-mail parameters there.

SMTP server must not require authentication. Some SMTP server (not sure for groupwise) requires valid sender address.

It works fine with Groupwise (we used to be a Groupwise site).

In AIX, you can create a function to execute command 'sendmail' from the operating System.

In CTM, you can send messages via ECS and read them using SQL to create your own message system (table 'alerts'). This allow to you to make 1 message with many error messages, rather than 1 message by 1 error.
