CTMFW - do set var for file with unique date/time

Hi,
I need to be able to schedule a filewatcher to watch for files which are created by another job with unique date and timestamp write it to a global variable to be used in another job to process. I have been unsuccessful in dumping the unique date and timestamp to global variable. Does anyone have any suggestions or examples? Also we do not use AFT so that is not an option. We only use "FILEWATCHER". thank you.
