Scheduler Usage

Hi Guys

We have two enviroments, Development and Production. Is it possible to allow users to load Development tables into the Enterprise Manager GUI,
but not be able to load tables into Production?
We are running version 7.00.00

yes it is possible using Control-M server security using CCM

Example :-
You can add user in DEV server say user - A
Give table * and then order tab YES
Authorization AJF : Give Order and force - YES other yes so operator can perform daily operation such as rerun , hold , delete, kill etc

Add same user is PROD user - A

Give table * and then order tab NO
Authorization AJF : Give Order and force - NO other yes so operator can perform daily operation such as rerun , hold , delete, kill etc

Now user A which is defined in EM will not be able to load- order force jobs from PROD

The easiest way is to create a Browse group in PROD (Define it with only browse capabilities) and add all users to the group. In DEV, you can assign different groups with update authorities and give users authority to update/load their specific applications
