Urgent..!!! Connnection to one control-M server is very slow

We have 2 control-M installations; for development and production.

Both have its own EM installed on that machine itself.

While trying to connect to the developmet server through EM client i.e. by changing the server name in advanced tab on the login screen it takes long time to load the server(10-15minutes). After the server name is loaded i give the user name and password.Again, it takes long time to login. But for prod server the connection is quite fast.

We have the EM client installed on citirx. Is is something to do with the connection between the citrix server and the control-m server?
on the login screen what is the 'Restore default settings' tab for ?
Where are these default values saved?

Any one knows why does it behave like this and any solutions for this?

I think that you have problems with CORBA service. What's youtm CTM version and Windows version for citrix ?

Check with your LAN manager and trace the route of connections between citrix and clients. Check if citrix is configured to allow persistent connections or have some rules to access some servers only.
