EMUSER Password Change (need guidance)

Hello,

We are on EM 6.2. Every 3 months I have to reset the EMUSER password, and every 3 months something in the password reset process is 'different'. This time, when I log in to our EM server and the unix user...the stop_admin_agent comand prompts me for the DBO password but then indicates that the credentials are not correct. (I can log into the admin facility and the sql database with the same EMUSER credentials though).

I can totally believe this is Operator Error, but can't understand what is going on.

Any adivse would be appreciated!

Thanks for that confirmation. I thought it was just me! The process gives me a heartattack every time I have to perform it.

I haven't made it as far as the cryptocli command yet. I am refusing to change the password at this point. If I can't even get the admin agent to stop, I don't want to skip that part and find out that it was critical at the end of the process.
