Waiting jobs after new day procedure

I need help for Control-M waiting jobs. Few of my jobs has IN condition for successful completion of other job. But some time those job completes after new day procedure. The waiting jobs are archived by the new day procedure. Is there any setting to avoid archiving waiting jobs for one day. If dependend jobs are put on hold, then waiting jobs are not archived. Which system parameter is used for this setting.

Thanks for reply. I used Maxwait as '2'. But now repeated jobs are running next day also. I have end time 1500, but the job does not stop at 1500 hours. Do I need to check any other parameter, when Maxwait is more then '1'.
