I create some dynamic filter on control M and that disappear with the next execution.
Do you have an idea where it is saved.
Thanks

Dynamic is the key word !!

It's dynamic meaning not saved any where.
if you need a filter you can use over and over just create a standard filter.
dynamic filter does keep it's setting until you chage your criteria.

In ControlM-EM version 6.2.01, you have the possibility of making a safeguard of the filter (case Filter Presets).

Select your filter and click OK to apply this.

From version 6.2 is possible to save in the dinamic filter the.
"filter preset" so you can same some dinamic filter settings.

But the dinamic filter is dinamic, not permanent filter.
so if you want a true permanent and static filter you can define it in the view point manager. So it is avaqilable from the list in all the viewpoints.

have a good day

I use Control ME version 6.1.
I think the filter is saved temporary.
If I could know where;I think I will be able to replace it manually.

Dynamic filter

Hi,

You can define the path where the Dynamic filters are saved.
In EM Gui chose:
1) Tools
2) Options
3) General
4) In Filter Presets/Presets location put the path where your Dynamic filters will be located. The name of this file is : Presets.ini

Regards
Walty
