Control - M compare across environments

Does anyone have any tricks to compare Job definitions across say a QA and Prodcution implementation? I have tried to extract XML and compare but the tags are in different parts of the files?

You want to compare the definitions between two servers (prodution and develope) for example.
You can do this with XML files, the tags can be in different positions but are the same and you can sort the differences.
But i think that you must build a program to do this comparison.

I think you want to compare the definitions in the Control-M desktop, if so you could go to view tab and select list / job editing form option and you will see the job definitons in a spread sheet.

you can also export those defintions in to an excel sheet.

I use the export in xml method.
Then you may have an xml editor that can compare well files.
I use ultraedit and works fine, but there is many products and many are specialized in compare files.
