New utility for Control-M documentation

Hi Folks,

Recently there was a requirement in my project to create documentation of all control-m jobs (approx 3000 jobs).

I tried looking at options in Reporting Facility but couldn't find what I was looking for so I created one of my own in .NET

It reads Control-M XML file generated from desktop and then publishes the relevant data in Crystal Report which can then be saved in doc/pdf/excel/rpt format.

One job per page is printed and a page has three parts:
First part shows job name, application name, group, is the job cyclic, interval etc.
Second part shows job's Inconditions and Out Conditions
Third part shows all the parameters.

Guys I do not know if any such utility already exists for free.
But if anyone wants it I am happy to share :)

Suggestions are welcome.

I am new to this forum can anyone please tell me how can I upload that utility? or suggest a way?

Thanks,
PG

Nouveau, I was not able to download your program from provided link.
Could you please send me an email to kolsasha@gmail.com. Program and distractions.
Program extension might be blocked as virus, could you please rename extension to aaa?
thank you

thanks :) I will mail you the exe.

Yes I forgot to tell community I have recently upgraded my code to work with version 7. There is a difference in XML for version 6.4 and 7.0. If anyone wants it for version 6.4 you can let me know I will publish that version too.

There seems to be a LOT of interest in this. Would someone please help the poster find out how to UPLOAD the source? I would, but I am new to this forum myself and do not have a clue. This utility could be very very useful to everyone

PIYUSH ! Please send out the code "as is". No one should expect you to adapt the code for every version/release of Control-M. That is up to each user.

At least one person has received the .NET source code from Piyush but it seemed to not work for their version/release. (Smart Tables in V7 really change the XML for example)
I have a .NET expert here who is willing to try to make it work with our release, and I will GLADLY share this code for My version with everyone if someone will send me a copy of Piyush's source.
So, someone please send me a copy of it ASAP. Thanks !!!

Need SOURCE from Piyush

Unfortunately what Piyush sent to Jesus is an executable program rather than "source" which means there is no way to modify and fix or otherwise use the source.
Jesus ! If you have an eMail address for Piyush would you please request the "source" and assure him we will not bother him for any debugging?
Without the source, this is a dead issue unless someone wants to start from scratch and create a program to create Doc from XML.
