You can edit the config.dat parameter CTM_PRM_ENABLE_UE to N but this will stop both watchdog commands (the ctmdiskspace also).
You can also change the interval so that it runs less often.

AUTOEDIT FOR IN-CONDITION
It really does depend exactly what you want to change. You can use a few functions in the Find and Update utility to change all values, such as 'Assign Function', 'Replace Substring' and 'Replace Expression'.

UPDATE IN-CONDITION
It really depends on your Control-M Version. If you have version 6.4.01 or 7.0.00, the find and update facility will do this easily. If you are on an earlier version, your best option is to export your tables (using exportdeftable utility) then edit the xml file, then import the tables again (using ...

It is a field in the job definition. Look for it in the Execution tab of the job editing form.

HOT BACKUP
The issue is that you are using your own existing database, i.e., it is not dedicated to Control-M. And database archive mode is only available for a dedicated Control-M database. And archive mode is necessary for a hot backup. Therefore, you can only perform a cold backup on an MSSQL Control-M data...

KILLING JOB THROUGH SCRIPT
The path is a UNIX path so definitely won't be correct for Windows. To get the rest to work, just change the $2 to %2 (Unix to Windows). My script has the following code: cd C:\Program Files\BMC Software\CONTROL-M Server\Ctm_server\Exe ctmkilljob -ORDERID %2 I don't know why I had to specify the pat...

utility to copy tables
I'm looking for a simple command line utility to copy a table from one CONTROL-M to another. I would prefer to use a command line utility than use the GUI and I don't see anything in the Utility Guide. I'd like to know if anybody has come up with anything to do this. BTW - I'm not keen on exporting ...

NESTED ON-STATEMENT
People have been asking BMC for this feature for yours and hopefully we'll get it soon. My recommendation is to contact them and ask for it.

DISCOVERING BATCH SERVICES IN CMDB
I know that you can use BMC Batch Discovery with BMC Atrium CMDB and Remedy to save your business services in Control-M as CIs (configuration items) in a CMDB. But does anybody know of a way to save job definitions or business services as CIs without having to use Remedy or BMC Atrium CMDB. What if ...

statistics
I'd suggest two things;
1. Upgrade - your version is out of support.
2. Run a query on the Control-M/Server database instead of the Control-M/EM database - the tables containing your data are CMR_AJF and CMR_JOBINF
Cheers.

SQL SCRIPTS
What version are you on. If you are on 6.4.01 or later, statistics information shifted to EM and a lot more information was made available for Forecast. You need Forecast to run these reports using the reporting facility but I suspect that you can still access the data via SQL without it. Try the ta...

AGENT IN DISCOVERING MODE
Hi,
If the jobs are blue, then they are not running. Why do you not want to hold or stop them from running? They can't run anyway!

AGENT IN DISCOVERING MODE
It is probably the case that the agent is not configured correctly. Here are some likely scenarios: 1. The agent is behind a firewall. 2. The Control-M/Server is not on the list of authorised servers in the agent configuration. 3. The agent is not running. 4. The server-to-agent and agent-to-server ...

Workaround needed for Late time in Post Proc tab
Can you give some more specifics: Is your new day time midnight? When do they run? What is the late time alert? You don't need to order in all jobs at new day time. It may be that you can solve your problem by using a different user daily for these tables and running the ctmudly job (to order these ...
