Hi Mamy, This is another idea. If you give some rights between your Control-M Servers to be able to run rexec or rsh, or something like that. It will be simple to create a script to execute ctmcontb on the both server in the same time with the same parameters. No need to add antother Control-M agent...

Hi, It's not so simple. There is a solution, may be. Create a job waiting for the condition from the first Control-M Server. That job could execute ctmcondb command on the second Control-M Server to add the same condition. To do that, of course you need to install a Control-M Agent on the box where ...

Hi,

Normally if you use the same version, database diagram is exactly the same. Nevertheless, if you change from Control-M 2.2.4 to 6.x you will have some issues. Fields and Tables changed.

You could find Database Posters on that site in download part.

Hi,

There is information existing in Control-M Server Administrator guide

To use character * or ? enclose the full path name in quotation marks (for example, ?/ctm/a*.txt?. If a file name in a Rules file contains a wildcard, the filename should not be enclosed in quotation marks.

Hi Sorry I did a mistake about sql.ini If you install Control-M Server on the same server than MS SQL Server you don't need to install MS SQL Client. So be carefull MS SQL Server 2005 is not supported for Control-M Server 6.1.03 or 6.2.01. Only MQ SQL 2000 in English. Before to launch your install p...

Hi,

Instead to use %%OMONTH or %%ODATE variables, if you want to test you file through system date you could use %%MONTH or %%DATE.

Hi, I didn't say you could find %%FILESIZE, but you can create it. AUTOEDIT vars can't pars anything, but you can add external information using %%LIBMEMSYM function and to create your own AUTOEDIT variables. So in your case, if you want just to wait information concerning file arrival, you can crea...

Hi, There are some ideas to do that work. This is only one, using ctmcreate utility existing with each Control-M agent. 1 - Create an ftp job template with all parameters you will need. Create in that template an AUTOEDIT variables list that will contain your different information like: %%FTPFILE fi...
