Sounds like you don’t need to stop cyclic so just remove that from the job. If it fails you will still recive an alert/email but the job will continue on its own.

have you tryed to login as ctmagent and cd to that directory and do 'ls -lrt' and 'cat' the file? make sure ctmagent can access the directory and read the file.

As I understand the cyclic job is set to stop at 8PM so If it is set not to start until 8AM there is no need for the 6AM job to have an in condition. Just let it start at 6AM? This way you would only need an out condition from the 6AM job for the 8AM job to start it first run.... or is there an issu...

You don’t need a condition at all... As I understand your requirements: B runs every day A runs only on Sunday On Sunday B is only dependent on A completion ... So if you: Schedule B to run every day - except Sunday Schedule A to only run Sunday Set A to force order in B when it finishes successfull...

ppraveen, One other thing you can do is schedule JOB B (daily job) to order in every day except for Sunday. Then Schedule JOB A (weekly job) to order in on Sunday AND in the steps tab create when job ok "force job" and force job B in to run at that time. This way you don’t need to setup a direct dep...
