It seems to be a dns problem, and it does not necessary affect you on file transfer.

Look if there are many route to dns servers on /etc/resolv.conf, ping the first one and ping the failover if there is one, but any case, the difficulties shoud be therefore.

You must set the profile of the user adding the /usr/bin in the path of the profile.
(ksh = .profile / csh = .cshrc / ...)

Be carefull changing the EMUSER administrator password in Control-m / EM GUI should not change anything for the account <user> <dbo> from the database.
It will just change the one that is recorded for EM GUI logging.

What you can do is to suppress any wrong parameters in CCM and redifine Gateways and servers.
That should not take a long time.
