When you ordered the table, did you "order" or "force"? "Order" will follow schedule and skip job D. "Force" will ignore schedule and include all jobs.

Did you invoke ctmcreate on CTM or on Agent? Server utility invoked on Agent is actually executed at CTM. Agent UT process will connect with CTM to request for execution of utility and wait for output from CTM to be displayed at Agent. When ctmcreate is executing at CTM, it expects the file to be a ...

Upgrade to V8 which allows you to say

ON number of failures = 1 DO shout

Prior to V8, you have to achieve this with some form of coding to remember job's previous state.

Are they Windows agents using persistent connection? If I remember correctly, this combination has a known issue not able to reconnect after CTM server restart. I don't know if any FP has addressed this.

Your real question isn't what you asked initially. My answer was based on your question How would you schedule a job that has to run on monday morning, but really is connected to friday night's batch? (specifically, jobs running Monday morning are dependant on job running Friday night). For your rea...

Negative result code is for Windows only. UNIX result code is always positive. There is no side effect of having negative result code. I believe Control-M agent is evaluating the result code as UNIX style even though it is Windows. Negative value when treated as positive becomes a very big value. Th...

The value is not number of hours, but rather the absolute time when new day occurs. + or - is to specify new day change to occur after or before midnight, respectively. At +07:00, the period between midnight and 7am belongs to previous day. That is Monday 06:59 is ODATE Sunday and Monday 07:01 is OD...

This is what PREV will be translated to. If a job's schedule is M-F, on ODATE Monday, PREV is previous Friday. PREV means the previous order date relative to the ODATE of the job. Similarly, NEXT means the next order date relative to the ODATE of the job. PREV and NEXT are available as date of condi...
