I am trying to find a way to provide that last run time for all jobs defined in my scheduling tables. Does anyone have any suggestions? I am running version 6.2 on a mainframe. Thank you!

i am currently running control-m/agent 6.2 with the bw cm with very few problems.

i would like to know why as well. they ran diagnostics multiple times and have not been able to come up with anything. the problem we have with extending out the timeout parameter is that we have critical jobs that run on that server and they do not run until we ultimately recycle control-m.

Creating a calendar is by far the easiest way to handle your situation. But be careful that your calendar names make sense to everyone who may be using them and they don't misinterpret what is used for.

Anyone else come across this problem? We can't pinpoint what triggers the GUI to start overrunning the server but it appears to only happen when we have HA up. By overrun I mean it begins to consume large amounts of memory.

thank you both for your feedback, the problem is that the jobs run longer than 10 minutes and the job would need to release the resource after the first 10 minutes have passed. hope that makes more sense.

I have come across a problem were I need to be able to an exclusive resource/control to a job and then have it release the resource/control after the job has been running for 10 minutes. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks for the info mauriziog! I hadn't had time to start looking into the utilities so at least I have a good starting point. If you know does the .xml file actually show calendars or is it a string of 365 characters representing the entire year?
