Re: Global Control-M Auto Edit Variables
Could you explain what you mean ? Global variable stay as defined, is you don't try to modify it. But now, if you want to share variables between jobs, and if you are using CTM V9.0, you should use POOLNAME variables. Based on LIBMEMSYM function, POOLSYM will offer to saved variables in CTM database...

Re: To Schedule a job except Dec 31
Hi
It's depends on the Control-M Version.
But since 7.0, you can use Rule Based Calendar.
Creating one to schedule the 31th of December, you could use as an exclusion in your job daily schedule.

Re: Control-M Agent hook up with more than one CTM server
Hi
You can configure your agent to communicate only with its PRIMARY and BACKUP Control-M servers.
Of course only one of them must be UP and Running

Re: New Day process hung
Hi
A lot of reason could create that problem.
One of them, all table are with Automatic Method or SYSTEM userdaily
Create another userdaily alias as ONE, and aplly it to all Tables except on table having a job running folowing command
ctmudly -DIALYNAME ONE
This will reduce time of NDP.

Re: Multiple Corba servers
Hi Corba is used only between Control-M/EM server and its client. So the best practice is to have two servers, one for the Control-M Server, and another one to the Control-M/EM server, just to b sure EM clients will not impact Control-M engine performances. Of course you can have another one to be C...

Re: Minimum space for control-m agent
Hi Space depends on size and days retention of your SYSOUT / OUTPUT (V8) The best practice is to have a filesystem dedicated to your agent, having a minimum size of 1Gb But considering number of jobs and retention, this size could be not enough. The must important, don't share this filesystem with y...

Hi
You can have the last thursday in the month using L1,L2....,L7 and thurdsay selected.
The same for tuesday.
But you must have an OR operator to explain who will be the last.
In that case you don't have other solution to generate a specific calendar.
Regards
