Try putting Out condition in Job A in Steps tab. No dependency line between them.. But still A will trigger B

Is there any option to change the cyclic interval change incase of failure or success in Control M Version 7.

For example: We scheduled a job to run every 3 hours. Incase if it fails, it should run every 5 minutes until in completes successfully.

In this case, we will get an email even the 3rd is successful. we need if 3rd run failed, then only we need email.

If 3rd run is success, no email or any other actions required.

You can set an email alert in PostProc tab if job running more than some defined time. [Ex: Running more than 120 minutes]

I have set an email alert in steps tab. 1st time job ended OK (just command line sleep 5). but email alert failed. Just reran the job, then the email alert was successful. Any idea where the issue is.

I think, Dummy job is not required in this scenario.

We can keep the condition directly to job A what we are supposed to put the Dummy job.

But I was not able to find the above mentioned table in my database.

After my analysis, I got the table name and Finally used below query.

select SCHEDTAB, DAILYNAME from CMS_SCHEDT;
