Can a Scheduling Group Variable File contain comments

I am working at a site that uses Variable files heavily for Scheduling Groups. The Variable files need to be changed (or create a new file) when moving between between Test and PROD environments. Is it possible to have a variable file which contains all the variables and values that may be required ...

cmtvar action for multiple variables using input file

Convert/move jobs from ControlM 6.1.03 to 6.4.1

Does anyone know if there is a way move tables and jobs from a ControlM 6.1.03 environment into an existing 6.4.1 environment without having to do a migrate? The 6.4.1 environment already has pre-existing Tables and jobs defined.

Thanks

ControlM Desktop in v6.1.03 hangs when writting a table

I have an issue (more often than not) where the ControlM Desktop will hang when writing a table back to the controlM-EM Database. The process status bar displayed when a table is written back to the database will either halt while in the 'sending data' phase or continue moving but not get past the '...

Thanks for the reply. I had not tried to incorporate the command within a shell script. My unix is very dusty. I will test this though for my own benefit. In answer to one of your questions. The command line (including the full path to the command utility) entry was already set in a pre existing job...
