Can anyone enlighten me on the 'SuperKill' option that appears in the right click menu on Control-m. The version is CTM-EM 6.3.01. Thanks in advance.

Forcing Jobs OK
Sometimes when I force-ok a series of jobs, the dependent starts executing once the prev. job is forced ok. I need to kill it then and then force it ok. To avoid this, what I do is force ok from the reverse (instead of forcing jobs A->B->C, I force them ok as C->B->A). If I Force-ok A->B->C , B will...

Media Manager errors
I have seen quite a lot of jobs go down with a Media Manager Error. Could someone explain how they occur?

Hi, Thanks for the reply. Maybe I'll check with the admin on the DownCreAlerts parameter. There is no familiar pattern to the alerts that are duplicated at New Day. But, they are job failures indeed, but not necessarily during that day. They were failures a few days back (even a week old). And some ...

Hi Giuseppe Thank you for the reply. Yes, I have selected Datacenter name in CONTROL-M field. I have even selected the Table Name and the Job to be Forced. But the option 'Order/Force' with HOLD is still greyed out. Yes, I have earlier Forced table(s) / job(s) through the Control-M Desktop. The EM v...

Hi all, the same is happening with me. A lot of duplicate alerts get thrown on the alerts screen after CTM refreshes (new day). @ spkenney: MAXWAITS are set. Btw, could you throw some light on the Maxwait parameter. Would help me understand better. @ brownbag: Not sure how to check for the EM Parame...

Unable to get Sysout
Sometimes when a job fails, I am unable to retrieve the Sysout. When I try to open the Sysout, I get the following message: 'Request rejected by datacenter'. The same happens when I try pulling the sysout after a while. Could someone throw some light ?

Order a table with hold
To order a table with Hold I tried the Tools==>Order/Force menu. The Order/Force with Hold option is greyed out even after I select the table to be ordered. Could someone explain why ?
